Yesterday I went running with @yourcheeksarefat (my lil sis Sherleen) at the Ellwood Pier. It’s a pier dedicated to offshore oil drilling, but the surrounding beaches are one of the most pristine and beautiful beaches in California. It’s just 6 miles northwest of UCSB!

Day 20 - Da Deng Dao Island, China

Another island hopping day, this time I cruised along the rural parts of China, heading north onto two small islands. Before tourists were allowed onto these islands, the military took control of this area because it was the closest piece of land to Taiwan. I couldn’t find a Wikipedia article to elaborate more on the island, partly because there is nothing really exciting or interesting there..

..BESIDES THE FAKE LV, COACH, AND GUCCI STUFF! I was about to buy a fake LV wallet for $7, but decided against it cause it was too fugly. This place is very well known for its sharp knives, fake bags, and hand-made alcohol. We then took this janky ass motorboat (<—- ahahaha) onto another island. This island is completely rural, and I mean everyone there is a farmer. I felt bad for the children living on that island, because they look underfed… The island itself is mostly made for sightseeing purposes.
